Stefan Stegeman

After studying Accountancy at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle, I briefly worked at an accounting firm. After that, I pursued my pre-master's and master's degrees in finance in Groningen. Once I finished, I started applying for jobs and exploring the field of financial risk management. I wasn't familiar with factoring at all, but I was looking for a job where I could apply my risk management knowledge. That's how I ended up at Boozt24.

In my free time, I regularly hit the gym and enjoy gaming. Especially strategy games like Age of Empires. That actually ties in quite nicely with my other hobby: personal finance. I find it interesting to delve into efficient ways to invest money. To relax, I watch crazy reality TV on TLC; it's basically my guilty pleasure.

At Boozt24, I work as a Credit Analyst. I'm responsible for monitoring and reviewing our client portfolio. If something needs extra attention, for example, if a client has late payments, I pass it on to Darryn or Veronique, so they can contact the client. I also assess credit risks by analyzing potential clients' financial statements and write client reviews. I really enjoy working at Boozt24, especially because of the relaxed office atmosphere. This informal setting feels very comfortable, given my previous experience in accounting. Moreover, I'm given a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to processes, such as setting up our new platform. It's great to be part of this professionalization drive at Boozt24.
